THE GAELMINN GAZETTE : December, 2014
==========================================
The GaelMinn Gazette, a monthly e-newsletter from Gaeltacht Minnesota, carries helpful items for anyone studying the Irish language, anywhere, as well as news of interest to local and regional students.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS ...
==========================================
To you and to me, actually, as for the first time since starting this newsletter, I'm taking Christmas Day off from the Gazette. I'll send this out mainly to wish everyone pleasant, low-stress holidays and a great start to the New Year.
BUT, I do want to make sure you know about a couple of annnouuncements.
---------- ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
We are aiming for the last Sunday afternoon in January, the 25th, for our annual fundraiser at the Dubliner. We haven't confirmed everything yet, so keep an eye on our website at www.gaelminn.org.
This is the only fundraising we do all year, so we really depend on our students and friends and supporters to make it to the event, or at least make a contrbution at that time. A lean five bucks gets you a great afternoon of entertainment while supporting the cause.
As mentioned, we'll have more on the web site as we confirm details.
---------- CLASS SCHEDULE
Classes resume in Central on January 12.
January 19 is a night off for MLK day.
