This week I would like to send you my story about motives. I learned a valuable lesson from a snake oil sales woman and what to look out for. California pest protection, and border inspections, to suffer with budget deficit

A $16 billion state budget shortfall in California will lead to cutbacks in border pest protection activities.

Dave Puglia, Sacramento-based senior vice president for Irvine, Calif.-based Western Growers. said California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross briefed industry leaders May 14 with a plan that will require $2.1 million in cuts from the agriculture budget to deal with what he called a “rolling crisis.”

Hi Friends and Fellow Glassy People!

Well, the long awaited trip to Delphi is over, and we had a great time. They were wonderful hosts, and the two classes we taught were filled with great students from all over the northern states. Michigan is beautiful, and I now have literally hundreds of pictures of tulips and other blooming flowers for future reference. :) We are going to be working on a blog for Delphi in the future, and we appreciate the opportunity to write about something we love.
