As I read over the gratitude journal I started last month, I notice that it is a miniature story of my life in January, 2015. I enjoyed the memories and my attitude of gratitude. I was grateful for the very cold weather here when I could get things done inside. I was grateful for a warm shower after several days of no water because of a line break. By being grateful not hateful about things that are not so positive, I realize that my attitude is my choice, each day, every hour. Dedication to good health has me exercising 5-6 days a week – I’m grateful for the gain through the pain; thus my choice is to have an attitude of gratitude to look and feel better.
A positive attitude will bring success to your life.
Writing in your gratitude journal each night will, in time, replace a negative attitude with a positive one. Other readers who have gratitude journals have noticed that they look for the blessings in life now and that things they are grateful for rise to the top over the negative ones. We all have the same number of minutes in a day, and what happens to you is 10% of your life; your reaction to what happens to you is 90%.
