The New Year is 5 days old and I have started my gratitude journal. Please join me in writing yours. Find a beautiful journal, and every evening before bed, write down 5 things you are grateful for that day. Family, faith, food, friendships, freezing temperatures, feelings, flu, fun, football, flood, and finances, to name a few. Acknowledge the gifts each day brings and unlock the fullness of life. Focus on abundance.
Gratitude changes one’s perception of what is positive in life. A negative situation can be turned into an opportunity. An illness may make you stop suddenly, yet with gratefulness see clearly the good in the situation. A business failure with gratitude attitude becomes an empowerment to move forward toward bigger and better things. The sun just came out after many days of consistent rain – I said, "Thank you."
Write in your gratitude journal every day. To quote Melody Beattie, “Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” Notice the fullness of your life and its blessings. With each day, you will evolve into a consciously grateful person. My best to your success.
