Intention
My life today is lived with intention: to show up for my children and grandchildren; to be the best coach I can possibly be for college scholars; to be active in my church and community; to take advantage of every possible opportunity that comes my way; to create a welcoming home for family and friends; and most important of all, to DREAM!
In the last 10 days, I have seen my Tennessee grandchildren participate in children's church; In Oxford, I attended 2 live radio shows: MPB's "Thacker Mountain" and NPR's, "Whad'Ya Know" with Michael Feldman. I went to see, Ree Drummond in "The Pioneer Woman," and I participated in "The Southern Foodways Alliance Symposium." I was present for several book signings including: one by renowned chef John Currence for his new cookbook, "Pickles, Pigs and Whiskey," and another for Tom Franklin and Beth Ann Fennelly for their new book, "The Tilted World," and finally, one for former Ole Miss Chancelor Robert Khayat, for his "The Education of a Lifetime."
Fall is Football here, so it is a social opportunity to entertain in The Grove, and I will be hostess for several games, fulfilling one of my intentions for moving here. Thus my intentions really are creating my reality. It is wonderful, and I love it!!
Coaching Questions:
- What is the intention of your decisions?
- Where do you get your motivation?
- Is there something on the horizon you intend to do, to be or to have?
- When will your intentions become your reality?
- In the words of Peter Gruber, "Are your feet, tongue, heart and wallet congruent?"
I'd like to help you learn to live with intention; call me.
Warm Regards,
