January 5, 2012Yes? Or No?Time is precious. January marks the beginning of a brand new year. Each of us has the same number of minutes in a day and days in the month to spend as we choose. Do not squander them. As you plan your day, be conscious of your choices and realize when you say "Yes", that you really mean, "Yes". Sometimes I say "Yes" when I really mean "No". For instance: my resolve to eat fewer sweets fades away when I say "Yes" to the tempting desserts on a buffet table, or, I respond "Yes" to an organization’s request for my participation when I really feel in my gut that I want to say "No". Why do I do this? I am resisting an awareness of self, the taming of my ego and a trust in my wisdom. What I resist persists. Thus I continue to use some of my precious minutes unwisely. Time spent with my life coach has clarified my priorities and passions and lead me to a commitment to mean, "Yes" when I say, "Yes!" I love life. Call me. I want to be your coach. Coaching Questions:
