It Won't Be Long Now,
Fishing Friends! I'm Dreaming. I'm dreaming of blue sky and sunshine. I'm dreaming of Cameron Lake's beautiful golden Walleye. I'm dreaming of the fast and ferocious Great Northern Pike. Everything is in flow here in Northern Michigan. And soon too it will be in flow on the Oba River. If you too are feeling the flow, you know where to find me. Give me a call and we'll get you on the schedule. Enjoy your Spring. Here are a couple of photos from June, 2013. Enjoy the inspiration.

Getting To Cameron Lake
(Important News) The Algoma Central Railway (ACR) Passenger Service is running again this year! We are thrilled and want to thank all of you who wrote letters and signed petitions. The ACR has one year now to find more sustainable funding. We are eager to see the train back as a reliable source of transportation to the North. If you choose to drive to Oba via Hearst Ontario, we have space for you at our boat launch on the river. You may prefer an overnight stay in the town of Hearst. On the Hearst website, click on Visitors and then Accommodations. We are having Cameron Lake Fishing Lodges signs made to post along the Caithness and Oba roads, along with signage in Oba directing you to our boat launch. I'll let you know as soon as those signs are up. In the meantime, I'm happy to send you directions and follow the already existing Oba signs. |
