Just a Quick Note
Fishing Friends! The sun is shining and there's a racket in the woods around my home as critters come back out of their various holes to enjoy life just a little more and a little longer each day. Their twitters have turned to laughter and on the occasional warm day it's outright guffaws. We hope you are enjoying the new light too. The Fishing shows are coming up and we have some train changes. So this is just a quick note to let you all know what's up. Here are a couple of photos from June, 2013. Enjoy the inspiration.
Please send
me your 2013 photos. deb@cameronlakefishinglodges.com

Getting To Cameron Lake
(Important News) As of right now, the Algoma Central Railway (ACR) Passenger Service is closing on April 29. We truly hope this is not the end of the ACR and we are working hard to help them find a solution. Here's how you can help... Send letters to the following: Minister Lisa Raitt: lisa.raitt@parl.gc.ca MP Brian Hayes: brian.hayes@parl.gc.ca MP Carol Huges: carol.hughes@parl.gc.ca and please copy to info@captrains.ca And to sign the petition, please go to http://www.thepetitionsite.com/382/671/233/all-aboard-save-our-passenger-train/ When you drive to Oba via Hearst Ontario, we have space for you at our boat launch on the river. You may prefer an overnight stay in the town of Hearst. On the Hearst website, click on Visitors and then Accommodations. We appreciate that this drive will make a longer trip for some of you. We will do our best to provide you flexibility on your arrival and departure times. I'll keep you updated about the train issue. |
