Hello Glass Friends!
Most of us are thankful that Fall has come....unless you live in Texas, and it is still 90 degrees plus each day! John and I are looking forward to workshops each month through November with some new friends and some old attending. The workshops listed below have been a joy to draw up, and as usual, they are bigger than ever! Don't you just love it though?!
The Mosaic workshop will be held in our studio in Fayetteville, but the other two will be held at The Orchid Tree Gallery and Park in Round Top, TX, which is a lovely little destination town in central Texas. The Gallery itself is gorgeous and inspiring with room for us all to play happily together. :) Right now, because we are locating 2 workshops there, we have room for 2 additional students in each class, and I think you will be amazed at the size of the pieces.
The Birds! piece will be approx. 17" x 33"....almost a full sheet of Bullseye for each student! The lovely Snowy Barn Landscape is approx. 14" x 20"......Wow! They are going to be gorgeous! Everything but meals and lodging are provided including Starbucks coffee and my personal favorite, Peanut and Almond M&M's! We do know how to take care of our favorite students! :)
Oct. 23 - 27, 5 days
Fee: $950 for everything except food.
Birds, Birds, Birds....
Glorious birds! My favorite! This is an exceptionally large panel for a workshop that we are limiting to 7 students. All of our workshops are different, but this one will have a twist that you haven't seen before. Yes, it is very simple, elegant and Asian, but it has a twist that you will love that includes lots of birds....not just one! It will be a challenge, but for those of you that like that, this workshop is for you. Again, the seats are half taken so please, if you are interested, call.
Nov. 6 - 10, 5 days

Landscapes are everyone's favorite, but they also require the most experience! For those interested in this workshop there is a prerequisite of glass experience and some drawing and/or painting experience. Please call for more information. This large panel will require all of the techniques that we use to create a piece of glass that looks like a painting! Most of our large panels are approx. 14 x 20 or larger, so come prepared to be challenged and work hard! As of now, we have only 2 spaces left.
Each person is registered upon receipt of the deposit which is half of the workshop fee. That deposit is non-refundable, but may be used toward another future workshop in cases of an emergency.
For more information on the class or lodging....great rate on a beautiful B&B...call us at 936-436-2250.
Hope you all have a wonderful and cooler Fall!
