Happy New Year!
And it has started with such a bang! We want to let everyone know that Bob Paterson at Hot Glass Houston, www.hotglasshouston.com, is hosting a wonderful Fall Landscape class in Feb., and there are still spots left. If you have ever wanted to learn how to apply watercolor techniques, i.e., washes, to glass; how to pull small trees with a torch and manipulate stringer with a flame: make larger trees have dimension and shade with frit.....then this is the class for all of these techniques! Hope to see you there. :)
Always remember that we will often create a workshop when there is interest. Call us if there's something you'd like to see on the schedule. 936-291-0975. We are teaching only about half of the workshops next year that we have done recently. John and I are working our way to retirement in not too many years, and so our schedule is getting shorter. Having said that..........
Great news! We're going to Delphi in April! During the week, we'll be teaching two workshops, including the Texas Oaks and a large floral, and we'll be speaking at the artists' reception on Sat. It is really an honor for us to be asked to come to Lansing, and we are looking forward to meeting many of the glass artists in the area.
John and I wish you a New Year filled with blessings. A good friend of mine would often say, "Every time I open the kiln, it is just like Christmas." I wish that for you all year long.......
