The Book of Healing Symbols for Animals
I am very pleased, and excited, to be able to announce that a new book is available for those of you who work with Horses or other Animals: "The Book of Healing Symbols for Animals" has been put together by our Sarah Berrisford, Reiki Master Teacher, of Epona Equine Reiki & Animal Therapy Centre. Sarah has been teaching Animal Reiki Courses since 2008, from her centre in South Lincolnshire.
This book contains nearly 100 symbols, they are hand drawn and clearly set out, with the full picture on one page and the drawing instructions on the next. There are symbols for various different conditions; from physical issues, parts of the body, chakras and behavioural problems. The symbols can be seen as a doorway to healing the underlying issues of both physical and emotional, through acceptance, love and divine light.
Sarah began channelling symbols some years ago. She was working with CKR and SHK, just playing with the energy and drawing the symbols intuitively into a horses aura. She was enjoying her inner artist, with some of the symbols being drawn with the palm of her hand, in long sweeping motions and others drawn with her fingers, as she drew energy around the horse.
The horse was enjoying this treatment, he looked as though he was having an energy massage, basking in the light. After a time of playing with the symbols and energy, the thought of the horse's physical condition popped into Sarah's mind and as this happened, her hand began to draw a new symbol, which she could simultaneously see illuminating in her minds eye. Over the years, Sarah has gathered these symbols together and finally 'The Book of Healing Symbols for Animals' has been created.
