Enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt
To wish you a very Happy Spring, I have organized Virgo Moon's first Easter Egg Hunt! Here's the story: I have been getting some of my teacher's manuscripts ready for publication (more on that below) and haven't had much time to make anything for you. However, there are lovely spring pieces available in soft pinks (like Pearl Lei set pictured above and the exquisitely cut Rose Quartz Necklace with amazing stones!), in pretty whites (like the Sweetheart Necklace and the Pearl Cross set), and in spring greens (like the Harriet and Clyde Necklace and the Faceted Tabiz Necklace). There are lots more things to choose from as well. And so, in a shameless attempt to encourage you to look again at these pieces, I have added one new item to the
Available Work page that you haven't seen
before. That is the Easter Egg! There is even a clue on the page which describes the piece just in case you haven't memorized everything which was previously available(!).
The rules are simple: the first person to correctly identify the Easter Egg and send an email to me by April 12 will receive 15% off one item purchased in April, 2009. We can always arrange a layaway on any
purchase if that would be helpful. So when you find the Easter Egg, please use the "contact us" button and send
your entry, and of course you must include the Easter Egg item name or number in the email! (The small print: New special orders are excluded, though you may apply your
discount to something I am already working on for you. Please note that only one prize will be
awarded, and the discount expires at the end of April 2009.) I do hope you will come by Virgo Moon and join the fun! Perhaps you will find something that will be perfect with your spring wardrobe!
I'd like to tell you a little about my teacher, Allan W. Anderson. You may have seen the series of 18 dialogs he
did with J. Krishnamurti. The series is available from the Krishnamurti
Foundation and is transcribed in A Wholly Different Way of Living available from Amazon.
Dr. Anderson spent his career as a professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies. He has published many
scholarly papers and articles. Fluent in ancient Greek, classical Chinese, Sanskrit, German and other languages,
he brings incredible scholarship to the study of the world's scriptures. So when some of us got together to work on publishing his manuscripts, what do you think he wanted to have us work on first? His children's verse! We will
also be working on his huge collection of serious poetry, but this little work is very dear to his heart and I feel extremely happy that it is now available for others to enjoy. It's called Songs from the Mifflinger Sea and a
little cove of Nonsense and is beautifully illustrated by Leslie Rhea Lewis. You can read about it here. The book will also be available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble within two or three months, however those discount copies will be printed on matte paper instead of the glossy stock provided when you order through the link above. For a work like this the glossy paper makes a huge difference and I would definitely recommend it! If you have an interest in his other works including the
next book due out soon entitled Self-Transformation and the Oracular, please let me know. Soon I'll have a website up for him with a mailing list signup, but for now I'll keep a list and send you an invitation to join the mailing list when it is established.
